98. Summer Sabbatical

What’s Inside

1. The Strategy of Rest

As we wind down the first 6 months of the year, the 3 newsletters below saw the most engagement.

I write this as my family and I pack boxes for an upcoming transition.

So, I'm taking a summer sabbatical to

  1. Move

  2. Enjoy the warm days of summer

  3. And rest

Over the years, I've learned that there will always be a new target to chase.

"The next big thing."

I've seen seasons of growth, seasons of steady, seasons of dips, and seasons of change.

And I've found it helpful to build in the strategy of rest to rejuvenate, refuel, and refresh.

  • Rest opened my eyes to the idea of writing a book.

  • Rest helped me form a new business partnership.

  • Rest helps me remember why I started a business in the first place.

Rest is a strategy.

How can you build in rhythms of rest to strengthen your firm?
